Purpose: When Kimpton takes over a hotel, rebranding takes place at lightning speed. I created a friendly, yet edgy, voice for this quirky DC hotel and rewrote the entire site in three days. Right down to the fine print.

Really, there's nothing like the warm fuzzies at Donovan House. We're pet people, just like you, and that includes pets in all shapes and sizes. You've heard about the elephant in the room? Maybe a bit of an exaggeration, but guests with tails make us go all soft and doe-eyed. Your pet will be accommodated free of charge, and anyone who works in our hotel will be delighted to point out walks, dog parks, groomers, and pet stores.

Now if all you really want to do is sleep, you may get distracted by the sleek, sexy luxury of your room. The decor gets futuristic right. Think Kyoto's minimalism crossed with Berlin's edginess circa 2020. Tasty chocolate leather canopy beds, plum accents, clean white linens, and a spiral walk-in shower that could get you and the love of your life in a bit of a lather. A hip attitude and style permeates the rooms, outsmarting the usual trendy DC hideaways.
